Re-Shoot Blog: Cake Switch
Yoyoyo!!
Today, I started filming during a similar time to when I initially recorded my clips. I made my sister wear the same thing she had during the other shot. Then, I decided to re-record the opening scene since I wanted the ambient sounds from outside. Before, children were running around and making a ruckus. So, I couldn't use the audio in the first clip. Moving on, I redid the scenes with the cheesecake replacement, using the actual cheesecake I wanted. I did not realize how much of the scenes had the cheesecake in the frame. Despite my sister's constant complaining about redoing the clips, but I made her go through. Throughout the retakes, I think it was funny how I made my sister do a little mukbang.
For the difficulties I went through, there was definitely a lot during filming. First, my mother was about to give us the last slices of cheesecake to eat. So, I am very glad I double-checked with her. Second, was the amount of retakes I took when filming. This was due to how fast or slow these clips were. Since I need to make it as long as possible for full credit, I have to make sure it is long but looks natural. Another struggle was the positioning of the stuffies since I decided to change up the stuffed animals so it looked like they were surrounding her. This also meant refilming the other clips so the stuffed animals were in frame and did not disappear. It was tedious, but we got it done and over with. I guess this is what I get for having spontaneous ideas.
