BIG day, film day

 Hey, my dear viewers, it has been quite a hectic week. For the past few days, it's been nothing but work, work, work. However, I did manage to film some clips for my music video. For the first shots I made, I decided to just film all of the shots that would be in my house since that was the most efficient. It was convenient since we did not have to walk far compared to TY Park. So, I decided to just use my phone camera, since I do not have any cameras in my house.

First shot, I used the desk to film from an angel so it mostly showed the cards and table. The only thing other than that was the hand that would work the cards. So, we timed the shot so we didn't have to film more than we needed to. It took several tries, but we managed to make it work.

Second shot, I filmed my sister from behind during the day. It also took a few attempts to make it look like in my vision. After the shot, I marked where my sister's feet were so I could stand there as well.

Third shot, I made my sister film me as I stood where she was during the night and turned on the lights in front of my window. I made her do it several times until it was right.

Fourth shot, I made her film me again at noon as I walked to the left. I had to do this several times since there was little to no space to walk off-screen, so I made it so she would pan my phone to the right. Then, I filmed my sister after me and filmed her walking to the right and stepping into her bed. She would then lie down and I filmed her in an aerial shot, closing her eyes.

Fifth shot, I did another ariel shot of my sister opening her eyes in her bed.

For the movie intro, I have decided to work alone instead of in a group. There were a multitude of reasons why I decided to work alone. This happened because my friends in media studies already had the maximum number of people in their groups. Also, I didn't want to ask people I did not know. Another reason is that I was concerned about not participating enough to the point where I couldn't really talk about the contributions I made to the music video. Re-Editing Blog: Finishing Touches

What's up, gang. When it came to editing, I had to remove all of the scrapped scenes that I did not like. Then, I replaced them with the clips I redid. To call it tedious was an understatement, it was rough. Not only did it mess up my title screen, but it also messed up with the transitions I had. So, it was very infuriating to redo all of that as well. As I edited my project, I got the gist of it and began mindlessly editing. That way, I could trick myself into thinking that it is going way faster than it actually is. However, while editing, I was messing with my project when I accidentally closed out of it while trying to exit out of a notification. Not only did I accidentally lose most of my progress, but it also meant that I had to restart the splicing and editing of the three clips. So, I had to remove those clips and redo all of those clips.
