Production Blog: capcut + tweaking
Near the end of my commercial, I noticed how repetitive it was when it came to transitions. However, I don't want to really be all over the place and have new transitions every chance I get. So, I decided to just stick to those and just hope for the best. Since I had to keep on hearing the song over and over again, I kept my sanity by playing other things in the background. That way, I can hear something new as I repeat the same parts of the song over and over again. Also, I would go on social media to give myself a small break. But, then I would go straight back to work and continue what I needed to do. Although I do have other work, I tend to choose this project over my other homework since it's much more entertaining for me. Even though it is bad that I'm not multitasking, I always get my work done before it is due. So, that's how I usually roll when it comes to working on schoolwork.
I find it very aggravating when something doesn't line up with the way that I want it to. So, being the somewhat perfectionist that I am, I went back and changed how it looked. It still looks off, but I really tried to fix it with the limited time that I have. No matter how many hours I take to fix and polish, it still looks wrong. I guess, that's just the critic in me since I would always think I do poorly on everything. There were times when I had to restart a certain scene and/or transition since I either accidentally exited out or it was too far back to undo it. So, it was a struggle when that would occur, which was a lot. However, it would be for the better than just giving up and doing less than my expectation and hope for this project. If I didn't, I would've kicked myself down with the possibility of making it look better. Overall, even though it was a struggle, it will turn out better than rushing it and not putting in a lot of effort.
