Hey my pookies, here's another update! Firstly, I ran the film over and over to find any errors. However, I could not find anything that needed me to fix or alter in any way. So, I took it as a good sign and asked my sister if I should change some aspects. She also could not find any problems with my editing, so, I will consider that a win in my books. I also tried to get feedback from others, they also said it was cool and that it had the essence of an anime opening. I'm not gonna lie, that's what I was going for, so hearing that made me feel accomplished. Although some may not agree, I will just look at the bright side of things. Honestly, it took way longer than I thought when recording and editing it. It was very difficult to align my schedule to be able to be able to film. Also, on certain days, I would have to pay to be able to enter the park. So, I solely went there on days you could enter for free. Which is on the weekdays, so I had to manage my time with my school...
Since I already had capcut, I opened the app and began inserting the images and photos when I wanted them to appear. Capcut is easy to use and navigate, so it was a breeze to do what I wanted. As for the music, I added the song I had saved to my phone. But, I had to censor out all of the curse words in the song and try to match the instrumental with the song. When it came to the transitions, it was simple for me to create the transitions that I wanted since I've dealt with editing in the past. Since I'm a perfectionist when it is something I'm good at, I tend to make it as close as I can to what I envisioned in my mind. I am very picky when it comes to timing and the beat. Even though I'm not that good at it, I find editing things to be very nice and satisfying when you get it right. Hopefully, I will be able to get a good grade on it. When it came to ordering the photos and videos, ...
Hey my lovelies, here is another update with my music video! For filming and redoing any clips, I've fully completed it. As for the editing, I have made it half-way with the major editing. Things such as splicing all of the clips, adding the music, adding sfx, and more. For the important editing phase, I just nee to do the rest of the clips I haven't been able to get to. Now, I need to create/add onto the transitions to make it look more smooth. I would also like to make it seem like a citematic music video by adjustings things like the exposure and saturation of the shots. That way, it could have a dreamy feeling to the first few and ending clips compared to the middle of the end. But, that could just be me and I could be the only one who feels like that about the change of filters. But, I think the different editings of the clips, will enhance the feeling of dullness of reality compared to the craziness of dreams. What I'm going for, is to making it look like there is two...
