Just Keep on Editing.

Hey my lovelies, here is another update with my music video! For filming and redoing any clips, I've fully completed it. As for the editing, I have made it half-way with the major editing. Things such as splicing all of the clips, adding the music, adding sfx, and more. For the important editing phase, I just nee to do the rest of the clips I haven't been able to get to. Now, I need to create/add onto the transitions to make it look more smooth. I would also like to make it seem like a citematic music video by adjustings things like the exposure and saturation of the shots. That way, it could have a dreamy feeling to the first few and ending clips compared to the middle of the end. But, that could just be me and I could be the only one who feels like that about the change of filters. But, I think the different editings of the clips, will enhance the feeling of dullness of reality compared to the craziness of dreams. What I'm going for, is to making it look like there is two completely different diamentions.

However, I also do not want it to create something that is edited way too much and looks really fake. So, I decided to calm down with messing with my clips too much. However, that did not stop me from adding things here to there. Also, I've come to the point of editing the music video where I have to listen to anything else other than the song I chose. This is because of how frequently I kept listening and tweaking my music video as I spliced them together. But, I kept pushing forward and kept at it. Of course, I took breaks to do other things such as other school work. Since I did not want to get tired and decrease the quality of the music video as I continued to edit and tweak the video. It took a lot of effort, time to make this music video, and patince directing my sister around to help my film. But, I was able to step out of my comfort zone and got to get my idea to life.

For the movie intro, I have decided to work alone instead of in a group. There were a multitude of reasons why I decided to work alone. This happened because my friends in media studies already had the maximum number of people in their groups. Also, I didn't want to ask people I did not know. Another reason is that I was concerned about not participating enough to the point where I couldn't really talk about the contributions I made to the music video. Even though it may be more difficult since I will have to do all of the work. I think it will be alright since I have adapted to being by myself. Re-Editing Blog: Finishing Touches

What's up, gang. When it came to editing, I had to remove all of the scrapped scenes that I did not like. Then, I replaced them with the clips I redid. To call it tedious was an understatement, it was rough. Not only did it mess up my title screen, but it also messed up with the transitions I had. So, it was very infuriating to redo all of that as well. As I edited my project, I got the gist of it and began mindlessly editing. That way, I could trick myself into thinking that it is going way faster than it actually is. However, while editing, I was messing with my project when I accidentally closed out of it while trying to exit out of a notification. Not only did I accidentally lose most of my progress, but it also meant that I had to restart the splicing and editing of the three clips. So, I had to remove those clips and redo all of those clips.
